Our CPHS Thrift Store is located directly across the street from the animal shelter at 1836 East Pleasant Valley Blvd. Altoona PA 16602.
Our shop is overflowing with high-quality merchandise that was donated by caring individuals who want to help the homeless animals. The heartfelt donation of time from extremely hard-working volunteers, and our Thrift Shop Manager, makes everything possible for all to experience.
Our inventory continually changes, so visit soon and often! Best of all, all proceeds from the sale of the Thrift Shop benefit the homeless animals at the animal shelter.

Donations and Volunteers
Donations are accepted only during times the shop is open. The store accepts clean “in style” clothing, toys, infant and children’s wear, household items (in good condition), knick-knacks, games, and furniture.
Our CPHS Thrift Shop is staffed by volunteers who give their time to sort, price, and stock merchandise, as well as handle clerk duties. Volunteers are always welcome and needed. Retail sales experience is helpful but not required.
