The Central PA Humane Society offers community support to pet owners throughout your pet’s lifetime.

All of our staff all own pets; therefore, we can empathize when a pet owner must make decisions about a pet’s passing.  We have a number of options that can help ease the stress and grief of losing your precious pet.

CPHS offers private euthanasia services on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings at our Animal Shelter.  We also offer euthanasia services on Saturday mornings at our Pet Wellness Center.  Certified Euthanasia Technicians perform this service with the utmost care and respect.  The Technicians assist you, the pet owner, on what options work best for your situation. They also offer grief support.  You may choose to be present during the service for peace of mind and to say your goodbyes privately.

We also offer cremation services to pet owners.  Our caring staff will help you decide what options to select.  We offer a variety of options, including private cremation services with your pet’s ashes returned in an urn.
