CPHS “FUR BALL” FUNDRAISER HOWLING SUCCESS!

First-Ever Fur Ball Raises Over $11,000
The Central Pa. Humane Society’s First-Ever Fur Ball raised $11,484.53 to provide for the 5,000 animals brought into the care of our shelter each year. With the corporate support of the Petco Foundation and Petco Logan Town Centre, Stuckey Ford and Subaru of Hollidaysburg, and Korotkin Enterprises of Tyrone, some 130 people attended the event on Saturday evening, October 20, at the Blairmont Club in Hollidaysburg. CPHS supporters generously provided more than three dozen unique silent-auction items, and Steve “That DJ Guy” Willett and Lulu Marie Photography donated their services for the evening.

Proceeds from the Fur Ball will benefit the 5,000 animals entrusted to the care of the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society each year. The Central Pennsylvania Humane Society receives no financial support from any government organization or national rescue society. We depend entirely on donations from our community.
